Plan together without another thread
A Shared Calendar App for Couples Managing Family Life
KIN helps couples coordinate the plans that affect home and family without copying details between personal calendars and message threads. Partners can add or edit plans by voice or text, assign family members, and review one shared timeline.
What this workflow gives your family
One place for shared logistics
Keep the events, reminders, and to-dos that affect your household in the same family timeline.
Voice and typed entry
Choose the input method that fits the moment, then review the interpreted details before relying on them.
Visible responsibility
Assign the relevant family members so a plan shows who it affects instead of living as an ambiguous message.
Privacy for selected plans
Use per-event privacy controls when a plan should not be visible to every person in the family space.
A practical way to start
- 1
Choose what belongs in KIN
Start with shared family logistics rather than trying to replace every personal or work calendar.
- 2
Agree who records each plan
Make the recording and checking work explicit so one partner is not silently responsible for everything.
- 3
Set a review date
After a realistic trial, check whether the timeline was complete, corrections were easy, and responsibilities were clear.
Know the current boundaries
KIN is a dedicated family calendar on iPhone and Android. It does not currently import or sync Google Calendar, Apple Calendar, Outlook, or other external calendars.
